Central Massachusetts Regional Library System (CMRLS)
Conducted focus groups and evaluated the Region's online continuing education
initiative, researched the digital media needs of librarians and their
customers in Central Massachusetts, and worked as part of a team in
facilitating CMRLS' strategic planning process.
Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC)
Consulted with EDC on the uses of blogs in education and on
blog startup. Also provided consultant services in the selection
and annotation of resources for parents and educators on literacy
topics.
Learner Web
Member of the evaluation team for the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) funded project to provide adult learners with distance learning opportunities.
Pearson Education
Developed online materials on research and study skills and edited pathfinders that support Pearson's college textbooks.
Securities Industry Foundation for Economic Education (SIFEE)
Worked as part of a team to develop curriculum that supports the Stock Market Game, SIFEE's investment simulation program.
Shady Hill School
Evaluated the school's library services - including collection, facility, and staffing - and presented report and recommendations to faculty and administration.
Westchester Library System
Developed a program of service for the re-invigoration of teen services at libraries in the System. Project included site visits to member libraries,
development of action plans for each library, planning and providing professional development, and creation of tools to use to communicate with librarians
in the System.
greatkidsCT
Project management for the greatkidsCT website, a database of online
materials for parents of young children included
design, information architecture, user testing, database development,
and hiring and supervision of site indexers.

Market Mysteries
Developed the Market Mysteries website for the Securities Industry Association
for Economic Education. Development included creating interactive online
mysteries for children and teenagers and teacher materials, managing
the creation of
the website design and information architecture, and working with technologists
to develop the website backend.
Homework NYC Widgets: A Decentralized Approach to Homework
Managed the research and development of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) funded project of the three New York City library systems.
(Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens). Held focus groups with teens and school librarians on student homework needs, developed project framework and timelines,
managed project partners, and worked on widget and web site development.
Teaming Up With Teens
Worked on the development of My Own Cafe for the Southeast Massachusetts Regional Library System (SEMLS). The project included working with an advisory council of librarians and teens; selecting, interviewing, and hiring designers to create the portal; and managing the interaction between the designers and advisory council in order to create a site for teens and libraries.
Teachers Lab
Teachers Lab is a website developed for the Annenberg/CPB Project devoted
to helping teachers find methods for teaching science and math successfully.
For this project LEO provided project management services including working
with designers, technologists, and content specialists.

Library Connections
Led workshops at the annual Summer Institute of the Archdiocese of New
York's Library Connections project. Training topics included webquests,
integrating the Internet into the curriculum, and information literacy.

Web design, information literacy, and virtual reference services are
three of the workshops provided by LEO for CMRLS.
The New York Public Library
A variety of training provided to The New York Public Library by LEO including
training librarians on web 2.0 and teaching teens the web development process from developing informationan
architecture to coding.
Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Library System (SEMLS)
Training projects for SEMLS include Internet train the trainer, 21st
century libraries and librarianship, webquests, and services to teens.
